Willow's Photo Book

I have a new project to start, and couldn't have picked a worse time to begin!

Classes start next week, Monday January 9th. I will be in class Monday - Friday, from 9 am - 1 pm...then work Monday & Friday 1:20-7:30, Tuesday & Wednesday 1:20 - 6ish, and every other Saturday! Thursday afternoons are my ONLY afternoon off! I am taking Anesthesiology, Pharmacology, Clinical Techniques & doing a Preceptorship (alternating shadowing a local clinics each week)

The project, is a free Shutterfly photo book, staring Willow! I got the free offer from Best Buy, and have made a few Shutterfly books in the past. I made one in May for mine & Todd's 2nd anniversary, and one last month as a Christmas gift for my brother. They are so easy, beautiful & have such amazing quality! I cannot wait to get started.

I need to start sorting through Willow's pictures & decide how best to tell her story! I have some inspiration from Terri, the amazing women who swam Willow at Paddling Paws. One of her swimmers wrote a book about her beloved Italian Greyhound that was hit by a car, then underwent surgeries & physical therapy and made a full recovery. I have the contact information for this special women, who has heard all about Willow & previously expressed interest in helping others tell their animals special needs story! She even has a few publishing companies interested in her book.

Now, I don't care much about all of that. I just want to share Willow's story. I want to teach others about the love she shows us every day. I want to share her amazing little story, and touch the lives of others ♥

Once her book is completed, I will let friends with children borrow it first. I have the perfect family in mind too, her children have such amazing spirits and LOVE little Willow so much :)  I hope for her book to circulate around and touch as many people as possible!

  1. Awesome!!!! We can't wait to see it and happy to help if you need it, Kate!! Kisses Willow and Hudson!!!

  2. I swam Lily, my English Bulldog with Terri and loved hearing about Willow & her progress. I never got to see her in person, it felt like we all knew her by your videos. Hope she continues to thrive and I will follow her on here.
